Who can be a Partner Agency?

A Partner Agency can be any 501(c)3, local non-profit, religious group, school or mutual aid group that serves families or caregivers Marion or Polk County, Oregon.

What are the benefits of becoming a Partner Agency?

Partner Agencies are able to request cloth diaper kits from SCP monthly. Rather than having your clients submit an online application through SCP's website, Partner Agencies are able to directly provide their clients with cloth diaper kits when they need them.

What are the requirements of a Partner Agency?

Partner Agencies are required to fill out a Partner Agency Application & Agreement. Once approved, we ask that at least one person from the organization take a cloth diaper 101 course from SCP, so that someone on staff is knowledgeable about how to use cloth diapers. After that, the organization will submit monthly requests for cloth diaper kits. We also request general demographic information about those who receive cloth diaper kits.

What is in a cloth diaper kit?

Partner Agencies will receive pre-packed cloth diaper kits. There are two types of kits. A Newborn Kit, that is for babies 6-14 lbs. and a One-Size Kit, for babies 12-35 lbs. Each kit comes with a total of 24 cloth diapers, cloth wipes, a travel wet bag, a diaper pail liner, a Cloth Diaper 101 booklet and a cloth diaper wash guide magnet.

What if no one on staff knows how to use cloth diapers?

That's okay! We ask that at least one person within the organization takes a cloth diaper 101 course with SCP, however, we recommend that anyone interfacing with families or caregivers takes the course. We want to prepare your staff to be knowledgeable about cloth diapers in case your families have questions. However, we also provide cloth diaper information in each kit. Our goal is to make using cloth diapers as easy as possible, so each kit comes with access to watching a recorded Cloth Diaper 101 course, a Cloth Diaper Basics Booklet as well as a wash routine magnet that can be placed on a washer.
